Well, I had a wonderful 4 days in the lovely city of AUCKLAND in New Zealand with my 24 yo son...
I have to say we found THE BEST coffee shop...gorgeous coffees...fabulous food...
We did hire a car & my lovely son drove me ALL over the place...
I came back with another suitcase FULL of vintage doilies~~~~ as you do~????
& lots of sewing goodies from vintage cotton spools to embroidery thread..
BUT, i was in a state of FEAR ....
My son hired the car and was driving...
BUT as he is 24 yrs old, not 25, the excess, should we have a little "accident" was $3000.00~~~~
I just kept thinking i may end up with $3000.00 worth of doilies to sell??
PHEW!!!~~ we MADE IT BACK ALL IN ONE PIECE...
I am enjoying contemplating my WONDERFUL weekend, overseas, with my eldest son who i don't see too often...(he lives interstate)..~~~
& he is off to Japan for 3 months in a few weeks...
So this Wednesday I am busy listing lots of lovely goodies on ebay, including the fabulous "MOLLIE MAKES" magazines...
AND BIG NEWS is i am just waiting for my FIRST delivery of gorgeous goodies FROM JEANNE D'ARC...
I shall be selling their magazines & some of their scrumptious goodies on ebay...
SO i am looking forward to receiving my first order in a week or so...
