BUSY SATURDAY...PAINTING/STENCILLING & DYEING LINEN!!!

Hello ladies....I have been busy getting some more bits & bobs ready for my JUNK fair..

I am endeavouring to get MOST of want I want to sell organised...& then be able to figure out what to list on ebay..LET alone my NEW WEBSITE..."The Vintage Hatbox"...(still in development ....BUT nearly there!!)...~~~~~

so I am taking things ONE step at a time...& you know what...??

for ONCE i am making some progress!!! well in my eyes anyway...!~~~~~~

I have had this little cupboard for ages and it was a deep salmon colour...

I have painted it white (photos show it PINK??...but it is definately white UNLESS i am totally colour blind!!)..

I have painted the drawer "DULUX Island SEA"...I kind of just had a fetish for this colour..which is a kind of deep sea blue colour...

(so i think with the time of day & my less than perfect camera..photos are NOT accurate re colour...but hope you get the drift of what i am doing/done)...~~

I have stencilled paper doileys over door...

Painted some canvases & stencilled similar doiley patterns on them..in alternate colours..AND I hand dyed some vintage lace doilies to match the DULUX colour...
(they have turned out a treat...almost the same colour)!!!

SO I have had quite a productive saturday...from painting...stencilling paper doilies...dyeing linen...& collecting the GORGEOUSLY CUTE VINTAGE LITTLE ladder I purchased on ebay to use as a display item re my fair...

amongst looking after dad & cooking...!!!

xx andrea
