Well dad is home after his knee operation & I am more than busy looking after him.
This operation was much tougher than the last knee (as more wear on this knee)..so he is a tad behind with his progress...
Has lost heaps of weight/body tone & colour...SO i am pampering him NON STOP!!
as such I have cancelled all tennis lessons etc & only "zip" around the street to get groceries whilst he lies still on the couch with SOOTY!! (under STRICT instructions NOT to move until I get back home)....as our house has lots of stairs which would be pretty treacherous for him to navigate solo...even with his walker...
BUT having NOT listed anything on ebay for ages & not been junk market hunting I had a tad WITHDRAWAL this morning..
Having positioned DAD on the couch with his nice view of Melbourne...sooty at his side...a cuppa tea..the newspaper.....I quickly zipped up the road to a great little op shop & found the following...(per photos)...
from religious padded images (not that I am religious BUT I love the colours)...
wonderful bevilled edge glass framed image..
cute hand embroidered cushions..
photos show the story....love them ALL ...especially the set of 6 x BIRD placemats...
ps...also included photos of the LATEST GORGEOUS book i purchased..
"TABLE STYLE"... gorgeous!!!
have a great weekend...
xx andrea

PS: I hope your Dad's knee heals quickly....I'm sure with your attention he'll want for nothing & will be able to concentrate on his rehab....!!!
Hi Andrea
You are a wonderful daughter...but I guess your Dad is a wonderful Father! Hope he's up and about very soon.
Loved your vintage finds.
I quite like the Religous prints, but anytime I bring them home and prop them up, Tony makes me turn them over and face them to the wall, not sure what his problem is, maybe cause he was bought up a strict Catholic?? would that be the reason?

Say "hi" to your Dad for me. I hope he feels better soon. I bet he is frustrated not being able to be his active self? He is lucky to have you looking after him though. Kathryn. XX
