MY VINTAGE FLEA MARKET FINDS..& HAPPY XMAS!!

Hi ladies.
well obviously the last post before christmas...as I have Christmas Eve at my house with about 15 people...
sooo have been frantic getting it all ready...
will be MORE stressed tomorrow with starting to cook cakes etc..

BUT...I HAVE been trying to get my upstairsEBAY area organised for about 3 MONTHS!!!!

SOOOOO did a BIG effort today...ONLY half way through...well a bit less!!

BUT getting there.!!!
Organising my material....linen...lace..hanging on lines for me to remember what I have stored away..

Old lace...vintage cross stitch??/embroidery...

AND LOTS/ LOTS MORE...TOO MUCH TO MENTION!!

(this is why my hubby is pressing me to get A SHOP AGAIN!!!)...

thinking about it???!!

MMMM !! I did have a shop for 10 yrs which was a great success....

This one would be totally different...with the VINTAGE HAT BOX theme...to go with my logo...

I have enough goodies NOW to open a fantastic vintage shabby flea market junky shop???

I can picture it now...

BUT paying BIG RENT/LAND TAX..RATES/ETC ETC..

IS A BIG COMMITMENT??? & A BIG RISK??

food for thought over summer....??
have a lovely xmas new years everyone...

xx andrea

Hi Andrea thanks for stopping by. We are so excited about being in the new house and not to mention Christmas. We are slowly moving pieces into the house and is some ways having it all in the shed is good because I am just bringing in what I love and maybe I sell sell the rest. I will post some snips of the kitchen tomorrow but its really only half way there. So much to do and I guess I have plenty of time. Have a great Christmas Eve dinner with all your lovely family.

On the shop subject - everytime I read your posts I think exactly that "you need a shop girl" would imagine you would do really well. But the trick as you say is finding reasonable rent. Big decision but it would be fantastic I'm sure. OK off to potter around.
Merry Christmas Sandy xo (love to catch up in the New Year)

What about an on-line shop Andrea??
A website is quite cheap to set up... certanly much cheaper than an actual shop front. No lease commitment, you work the hours you choose and you can do it on your own. Just a thought. I know it will be fabulous no matter what you choose.
Merry Christmas Andrea.
