Hello ladies...quick little post to show you a few goodies i purchased today for my mum's 87th birthday this coming Monday...
For some reason i felt like doing a "GRANNY SMITH APPLE" GREEN/OLIVE green coloured MIXED theme..
found some lovely bits & pieces today.. french chic cup/saucer & plate...matching jug..mathcing tea towels...tied with ribbon I have...some lovely trio of soaps...
I intend to make some YUMMY little choccies in the matching green/dot ROBERT GORDON mini foil cupcake cases i have...Plus other stuff!!
Just a little snippet....I want to get her a matching coloured scarf/ring/earrings & handbag if possible..
will wrap in brown recycled paper with BIG GREEN RIBBON....THAT is the PLAN..!!! I have a lovely matching green coloured card...
BUT CHRISTIAN IS VERY sick with GASTRO...!!!
& with his 1st exam re his 3rd year uni exams starting tomorrow morning....!!!
LONG STORY...BUT I had to literally get him to the doctors under extreme suffering to get a doctors certificate to say he couldnt sit this exam in the morning...specific forms have to be filled in etc...
( i confess!! i actually called the ambulance as he was writhing in pain on the floor...YES..& MORE YES..I am a total panic merchant...& having been a policewoman I cannot reconcile my panic state????!!!)..........
BUT i then reconcile it with the OLD motherly/maternal instincts...PANIC!!!!!
Hope you ladies empathise & make me feel better...feeling quite guilty calling out the ambos...
SOO in between looking after gorgeous SON... I did purchase a few items for mums birthday as I figured...
GUESS who will BE NEXT????? with gastro....!! ME!
I am HOPing it is food poisining?? (not from me...!!!)..............
if NOT ... i wait in awkward anticipation of something happening to me...as it ALWAYS has followed on in the past!!

Hi Andrea - its my mums 82nd birthday tomorrow, has it really been 2 yrs since her surprise party?
I love the goodies you got for mum, especially the trio - GORGEOUS. Hope your darling son is on the improve and DONT WORRY i called the ambulance too when miss had her 1st appendix attack a month ago. Better to be safe than sorry! Hope he is on the improve very soon and mum has a lovely day, Mel xxx

Oh boy, gastro is just the worst thing. I really hope you don't get it Andrea! I am a reall stickler for washing hands especially if we have been to the shops etc...
