I haven't had a cold in years and years...
BUT just when my eldest son came home to visit for the weekend, I was struck down in one FELL swoop~~~
Oh well, he was happy to stay home and catch up on his study whilst watching tv with me...
I am feeling a tad better, but find it hard to lay in bed...
I JUST CANNOT DO IT...
so when i am feeling down, i just have to CLEAN~~~
So my kitchen has been blessed with another BIG change around...(in between my coughing & spluttering & breaking a few goodies to boot!!~)..
I was tired with the section of my wall painted blackboard with NOTHING written on it, so I have taped some black/white paper images I had, interspersed with my CROCHET doilies/medallions..
AS I AM the QUEEN of crochet medallion listings on ebay!!~~~lol...
AND this will keep reminding me to KEEP CUTTING medallions~~
a little inspiration board.......
also placed a few of my vintage music sheet butterflies I had previously cut out..
A bit of a CHANGE is a little PINK corner...
(with two cute vintage little egg cups my auntie sent down to me..along with a crochet cloth of course)...
I have also used as a decor item my BIG LOT of vintage music sheet/french pages BALLS I had covered...
& my cards covered in french music sheets & crochet centres..
in the shape of a dress ...
Now to tackle other rooms in a complete MESS!!~~
Not today though...I have HAD IT~~
maybe i shall go back to cutting up some crochet medallions!!!
ps...the 20th July is our 25th wedding anniversary (good lord time flies)...
Hubby is overseas, so I wonder if he will remember??)
NOT holding my breath..~~~~~~~~~

I do hope you are feeling better Andrea....Nothing worse than being stuffed up with the flu....Mind....I've NEVER had it but poor Mr SVJ suffers badly at least twice a year so I KNOW it's awful....!!
CONGRATULATIONS to you both for reaching this AWESOME milestone....Even though Mr PP (hahahahaha) is away, I hope you had a BRILLIANT Anniversary....Even if you just spoiled yourself.... :o) !!!!!
I HOPE to make it over the bridge shortly....Let me know if there's a particular day next week you might like to come out for a drive around the Ops.... :o) !!!!!
