KNITTING A "CUPCAKE" WITH 4 X NEEDLES!! & HAPPY 21ST MR CHRISTIAN!!

Hi ladies...quick little post...

Firstly happy 21st for my youngest son...CHRISTIAN...turning 21 on 18th April!!! (tomorrow)...xxxxx

Today hubby has been home..but he has been busy on one computer whilst I was busy on another searching GOOGLE re how to KNIT with 4 x pointed needles!!

I think I am a pretty GOOD knitter...having knitted many a cable jumper & other intricate jumpers in my time...
BUT I HAD NEVER knitted with 4 x needles before...???

I have a cupcake knitting pattern I bought last winter & am getting in the MOOD for knitting ...
AGAIN...!! this "feeling" seems to encroach upon me when WINTER is looming!!
I did a google search on knitting with 4 x needles....FOUND a little lesson/tutorial..

& VOILA.... (have managed to knit the base....DONT look at the background..didnt take care to make it look "NICE"...
was JUST soo excited that it worked out...had to photograph before the light went psycho!)... BUT.....
How amazing is this google/internet..??
type in what you want to find...& IT IS THERE SOMEWHERE!!!
awesome.. SOOO...
base of the cupcake is finished....DEMO MODEL!!...
(colours were actually rich purple & lime green...showing as blue etc...this was just some wool I had...soo used as my "experiment"...

Turned out okay...it's in a circle at least!!??

MMM!!! next I have to tackle the top...!!!
well that has been my BORING saturday!!
have a lovely week...xx andrea

Hope Christian had a fabulous birthday.
We were down your way today, beautiful weather but nowhere to park because of the Craft market. Wish I'd known it was on and would have waited for another day when there were less people about.

You are very clever Andrea, knitting that cupcake. It surely is amazing what you can find on Google.
