SATURDAYS VINTAGE FINDS....!!!








Hi ladies... (before I begin...photos are out of sequence re below text!!)....

Had a lovely day today buying LOTS of lovely VINTAGE goodies...

Lots with a ROSE Theme.....including a set of 3 oval ROSE tins...
Gorgeous plastic rose shoe?? holder..

Vintage ACTIL ROSE covered box containing pure cotton pillow cases...
Vintage Rose prints X 3...!!!

Big vintage suitcase...(to be repainted)...
Fantastic 3 tiered vintage CANE ledge/shelf...
beautiful soft pink plastic with a ballerina centre box on little feet..full of sewing goodies...

lots of linen.... & lots lots more...(not photographed...plus LOTS of stuff i purchased during the past week....SO I have a very BUSY week coming up listing LOTS of goodies on ebay)...

AND THE MOST GORGEOUS 1960's book..."IWant to be an Air Hostess"....

LOVE the coloured drawings...havent stopped looking at them!! SOOO RETRO!!!

& how "incorrect" these days is the text about staying "neat & slim"!!! (to become a hostess!!??)....
SO i have had a truly lovely VINTAGE SATURDAY with hubby patiently driving me across MELBOURNE to find bits & pieces!! & just sitting in the car reading the paper telling me to "take my time"!
PLUS he has just cooked a scrumptious dinner & DONE THE DISHES!!!

My randmother has the rose cake tins....But one is so deep it is more a flour tin or the like.
You did well.....How great is it that your Hubby will sit patiently and wait for you.
My Hubby ain't patient bout anything!!!!!

Hey there Miss Andrea!
You are just too lucky to have such a patient husband! I usually go to the markets & garage sales with my mum as it's usually the last thing that my hubby would want to do!
Great finds by the way, I am hoping to get to some markts next weekend for some treasure hunting.

Hi andrea, fantastic finds. Particularly love the air hostess book. My mum was an air hostess with TAA and I still have her uniform. She looked just like the pictures, neat and slim!
