WENT OUT & BOUGHT MY NEW SUMMER HAT!!

My eldest son bought me a $100.00 gift voucher for my birthday some two weeks ago from our local "BLUE ILLUSIONS" store...which I LOVE!!! (i have featured it as a blog shop a little while ago)...

SOOO I purchased this lovely summer light weight hat this morning...

MY LATEST CARD GOODIES! SHABBY PINK!!???

Hi everyone....

thanks for all the comments re CHRISTIANS dilemma!!

He has FINALLY come good today..and is busy studying as i type, for his next exam on Monday....having missed 2 x exams...

He has submitted all the relevant documentation so he will have to re sit two exams in February..

ANYWAY...I have been busy this evening making some PINK gift cards..

YES!! I know ...I have these moments of CRAFTINESS!! and/OR WHATEVER!!

SOO i have done a little range of PINK cards...I am packaging them in a lovely silver drawstring bag...tied with a bit more pink ribbon...

BUT HEY....these took me an hour & a half to make...my back is killing me standing up for sooo long after my punishing tennis at 2.00 pm..

I am 52 yo..!!! the OLD girl gets tired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my ebay table has STUFF everywhere AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND just had to show you the lovely alphabet letters i got the other day...

SOOTY...............have them on the shelf in my laundry...next to SOOTYS photo...food bid....YES I AM PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but I love my gorgeous nearly 11 yo little "boy"~~~~~

MY GORGEOUS NEW STASH OF MATERIAL/EMBROIDERY/BOOKS..A RED/WHITE THEME HAPPENING!!

Hi ladies...

Well Christian is still very SICK with a temperature last night of 40 degrees Celcius...I was just glad hubby was home & managed it , otherwise it would have been ANOTHER CALL OUT for the poor old ambos!!

SOO he has missed two exams and I have had to take him to the doctors to obtain a certificate re his condition etc for a re exam in february...& whilst at the doctors he HAD to get a sample of something we dont like to talk about....

NO 2'sss!!! to check for certain bacteria which , if found has to be reported to the health department.....AS THIS IS A TAKEAWAY food poisoining issue...

OKAY!! whilst taking this "LOVELY SAMPLE" to the local pathology today...parked right outside a fantastic...awesome...CRAFT shop we have here in williamstown..."STITCHERY BLUE"..............

Its kind of funny as i was JUSt GOING through my UNFINISHED AMOUNT OF CRAFTY STUFF before taking this wonderful specimen or TWO!!....

my knitted bags...my cross stitch..& other sewing stuff...

AS at the beginning of the year i bought the wonderful book..

"MADE IN FRANCE"...........IT IS AWESOME..

AND found the other day another one by the same authors..

'LINEN & THREAD".........

I LOVE LOVE THESE BOOKS...& AM now more determined than ever to do my RED & WHITE cross stitch...embroidery...AND FINISH THEM...!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOO I did buy lots of material ... in the themed colours...red/caramel??

LOVe them...

SOO i have gone from apple green colours for mums birthday to kind of RED/maroon/linen type colours for my embroidery./craft fetish...

I JUST want some red/white gingham material..and some matching coloured paint!! and then will be satisfied...(re painting frames..etc etc)..

GATHERING MY MUMS 87th BIRTHDAY PRESSIES..APPLE GREEN THEME!!!?? & something maybe lurking!!

Hello ladies...quick little post to show you a few goodies i purchased today for my mum's 87th birthday this coming Monday...

For some reason i felt like doing a "GRANNY SMITH APPLE" GREEN/OLIVE green coloured MIXED theme..

found some lovely bits & pieces today.. french chic cup/saucer & plate...matching jug..mathcing tea towels...tied with ribbon I have...some lovely trio of soaps...

I intend to make some YUMMY little choccies in the matching green/dot ROBERT GORDON mini foil cupcake cases i have...Plus other stuff!!

Just a little snippet....I want to get her a matching coloured scarf/ring/earrings & handbag if possible..

will wrap in brown recycled paper with BIG GREEN RIBBON....THAT is the PLAN..!!! I have a lovely matching green coloured card...

BUT CHRISTIAN IS VERY sick with GASTRO...!!!

& with his 1st exam re his 3rd year uni exams starting tomorrow morning....!!!

LONG STORY...BUT I had to literally get him to the doctors under extreme suffering to get a doctors certificate to say he couldnt sit this exam in the morning...specific forms have to be filled in etc...

( i confess!! i actually called the ambulance as he was writhing in pain on the floor...YES..& MORE YES..I am a total panic merchant...& having been a policewoman I cannot reconcile my panic state????!!!)..........

BUT i then reconcile it with the OLD motherly/maternal instincts...PANIC!!!!!

Hope you ladies empathise & make me feel better...feeling quite guilty calling out the ambos...

SOO in between looking after gorgeous SON... I did purchase a few items for mums birthday as I figured...

GUESS who will BE NEXT????? with gastro....!! ME!

I am HOPing it is food poisining?? (not from me...!!!)..............

if NOT ... i wait in awkward anticipation of something happening to me...as it ALWAYS has followed on in the past!!

VINTAGE FINDS & OTHER GOODIES FROM A DIFFERENT SOURCE!??

Hi again ladies..

well after yesterdays cleaning spree I have been quite comfortable listing lots of goodies on ebay today....!!

I just love the vintage crochet granny blanket I found yesterday at an op shop and I have teamed it up with some red/green christmas decs..

Looking at listing my "GREEN" goodies...I dyed the tablecloth a lovely green and had the vintage napkins already..teamed up with a basket...??

BUT I LOVE the BIG tin shabby pink floral round PLATE/TRAY..what do you think about it??

I Love it as a display behind other pieces...?? or to use??

Guess where I bought it & purchase a LOT of my lovely bits & bobs from??

the LOCAL CHINESE/VIETNAMESE SHOP.....

these SHOPS are AN ENDLESS supply of YUMMY goodies..with a BIT of thinking OUTSIDE THE SQUARE!!! if you get my drift...

so if not thought about them...check them out!! food for thought.

I AM "SADIE THE CLEANING LADY"...!!

Hello ladies..It is a totally SPECTACULAR day here in Melbourne today especially with THE COX PLATE being run at Moonee Valley

this afternoon..it shall be interesting to watch the fashions ladies shall be wearing..

OKAY i am NOT going to the races & with hubby away & No 2 son working at his part time job..

MY dilemma was to go flea junk market hunting?? list my ebay stuff?? or CLEAN??

MMM!!! 3 guesses what I chose...YES CLEAN...

My house has been in such a mess..figured if i just give it a very quick clean...then can list some ebay stuff this arvo..I will feel better..as I really DONT NEED TO BUY MORE STUFF!!!!

SOOO I have been ripping through it...HAIR UP...daggy little smock on..& its been NON stop...

christians bathroom/bedroom...kitchen..entrance hall..shifted HIS drums around...back computer room...

I still havent done the upstairs back part of my house yet...maybe tomorrow!!

But thought I would show you some photos...I often get asked what my house is like as I sell shabby kind of stuff...WELL with a house full of MEN...shabby WOULDNT cut it!!!

SOO i like to think it is a TOTAL eclectic MIX of stuff...with my shabby little haven in my previous posts re my ebay room..!!
