MORE LOVELY BOOKS & TABLECLOTHS IN BETWEEN LOOKING AFTER DAD!!

Hi ladies...well dad is LOOKING SOOO MUCH better since he is in my care!! Honestly he has lost about a stone & a half...(sorry I am still an OLD imperial girl!)..

whilst lying on his back for 3 weeks in hospital (new knee operation..& dad is nearly 86yo..& would normally swim 3 kms every morning...& work out at the gym)...little bit of background info for bloggers who dont know what I am talking about!!

He is kind of a shadow of himself..& was a horrible pale colour when he came home to me on thursday...!!

BUT I am FAST bringing him back to his OLD self!!

he is walking really well...EATING A TREAT...& of course sleeping much better...I give him a YUMMY HOT water bottle every night...(boy!! with my night hot flushes..this is THE LAST Thing i would want..LOL)...anyway~~~~
SOO i think he is in GOOD CARING HANDS!!!!

he WANTS to be back in the POOL in about 2-3 weeks!!??? MMM .. shall see..
ANYWAY...I dont like to venture too far away from dad...

so whilst he sits in his little possie in my gorgeous window overlooking Melbourne.. with LOTS of friends visiting him!! and/or tooting & waving at him sitting there...!!

I can quite comfortably sit at my laptop on the table nearby and list some ebay stuff!!
HOW CONVENIENT!! lol..
SOO listed some lovely BOOKS on knitting...crafts...JUST LOVE TARA DENNIS's HOME book...(this is really beautiful).
PLUS tablecloths...LOVE LOVE GINGHAM!!! & MORE..
anyway...that has been my weekend...& have LOVED looking after dad...

have a lovely week everyone...xxx andrea

Hi Andrea

You are a wonderful daughter!
Aren't our Dad's worth looking after though?
Love your new books.

Wish your Dad lots of good healthy vibes from me here in Mount Martha

Hi Andrea,
It's good to hear that you dad is doing so well. He is a lucky man to have a wonderful daughter like you to look after him. I tell you though, I need to start taking a leaf out of your dads book & start doing more active things! He puts most of us to shame.
