As i was reading I was thinking
"i hear ya!" and then when i read on I really got grinning.
Yes I know about clutter.
My issue is I am sentimental,Not so much a hoarder just have "things"
My Hubby looks and shrugs...He does'nt see clutter.
But I do.
I cleared off my dresser recently and Put less...Looks much better.
I am definatley a Cluttered house,Cluttered mind kind a gal!
So best to keep my house tidy! lol!!!

I think when our places are a bit messy it does mess with our minds. So hard to keep everything free from dust when we have so may 'treasures' around.

I'm a neat freak too Andrea. I like everything to be orderley and in it's right place. If only my children understood this same obsession!! Sometimes we need to declutter and have a change. I bet hubby will love anything you do.

Hey Andrea,
I too get what you are saying. But I tend to go in bout of speratic tidyness...I had planned on getting stuck into it this arvo but we ended up having visitors. So I guess it will have to wait until tomorrow, after work. I had a photo cull a year or so back, I LOVE my family pictures but found it all to overwhelming seeing them every where. My problem is with the MANY gadgets & cords that go with those gadgets, and also the boxes that need to be kept for warrenty purposes.
Good luck with it all, we should do some before & after photos...maybe that could be my next post. I think that's all the encouragement I need!!!

Hi Andrea,
I think your looks great, lived in and a homely feel to it.

I too like a clean house, but do have lots of bits and pieces around.

The dust should subside when winter goes away. I notice a lot more dust in winter with the ducted heating going.
Have fun sorting things out.
Hugs,
Anna

Hi Andrea, I have just come across your blog and just had to leave a comment on this post! I am totally the same way, I too hate having a messy house, but with 3 kids its more messy than not, still frustrates me though. I also sometimes think I have too much stuff but compared to some others I do and to some others I hardly have anything at all. Its true though that when the house is messy I can't concentrate properly on what I'm doing.. funny I even mentioned that in my last blog post! So no you're not alone. I think its because we love to decorate our houses and have them look nice that anything out of order stresses us out!!! I'm just glad I came across your blog, atleast now I know I'm not the only one like that!! take care, Maryann
