WELL LADIES...IT IS MY MUMS 86TH BIRTHDAY THIS SUNDAY....SO I HAVE BEEN BUSY BUYING HER SOME GOODIES...
NOW...MY mum HAS EVERYTHING UNDER THE sun THAT
SHE WOULD EVER NEED!!..MORE SHOES/HATS/BAGS THAN IMELDA MARCOS!! SOOOOOO SHE IS LITERALLY THE HARDEST WOMAN EVER TO BUY FOR..
BUT...I KNOW SHE LOVES HER TEA...FOOD SERVED ON A NICE PLATE..LOVELY SOAPS...ETC..
SOOOO I WENT TO THE MOST GORGEOUS FRENCH CHIC SHOP.."PROVINCIAL HOME LIVING"...
THEY HAVE ABOUT 13 SHOPS THROUGHOUT VICTORIA..I DONT THINK THEY ARE INTERSTATE...
I LOVE THIS SHOP...(THE OWNERS ARE LONG TIME FRIENDS OF OURS FROM SCHOOL DAYS..WE HAVE THE SAME AGED BOYS...BOTH WENT THROUGH THE SAME SCHOOL...IN SAME YEARS..)...BUT SINCE SCHOOLING YEARS...SOME 4 YRS AGO..WE HAVENT BEEN IN CONTACT...SO i AM NOT PLUGGING THEIR SHOP FOR THEM...IT IS JUST THAT I LOVE IT!!).......
ANWAY I BOUGHT MUM SOME LOVELY GOODIES FOR HER...IN THAT SCRUMPTIOUS FRENCH CAFFE LATE TYPE COLOUR..
I AM GOING TO WRAP ALL IN RECYCLED BROWN PAPER...GOLDISH COLOURED RIBBON...MAYBE WITH SOME PINK RIBBON THREAD THROUGH..
WITH THE GORGEOUS FRENCH CHIC CARDS I HAVE BOUGHT..///
SOOOO FRENCH CHIC...THE POODLE..THE CHANDELIER..TRES BON!!
I AM GOING TO COOK SOME LOVELY CAKES IN THE GORGEOUS ROBERT GORDON CUPCAKE CONTAINERS FEATURED..
PLUS I ALWAYS BUY ROSES...CUT THEM DOWN TO FIT IN A LITTLE GLASS..AND PLACE THEM IN A CAKE STAND...(PER THE PHOTO)...FOUND THIS IN A MAG SEVERAL YEARS AGO...AND JUST LOVE THAT EFFECT..
OKAY...I THINK I AM GETTING THERE FOR MUMS 86TH...,I have already sent her the most glorious BUNCH of PEONY ROSES yesterday...,.and where from ,may you ask??

Happy birthday to your mum, mine turned 81 this week. Love all her goodies and i love that idea of the little glasses with the roses (going to pinch that one!) + just love those cards. Isnt it fun shopping for someone who enjoys lovely things such as we do. Like they say the apple doesnt fall far from the tree (in a good way). Happy days, Mel xxx
ooh too lovely, happy birthday to your mum!! One of my bestest friends (Sue) works for French Provincial in Wangarrata, I think that was their first store in Vic! I must admit I havent been to the store since they opened in Melbourne, must make sure I do by the looks.

Oooooh Andrea you have out done yourself this time, such beautiful pressies, I am sure your Mum will love them. Think I will be pinching the rose in the little glasses idea as well. Hope you have a great day with your Mum on her birthday, boy have just realised how close your Mum, Dad & your birthdays are!
