BUSY BUSY BUSY ORGANISING FOR THE EVENT OF THE YEAR!!~~

Hi ladies, well I did do a post yesterday about what I am now talking about, however when i went to edit it I accidently completely deleted it...(as One does!!)...~~~

So take TWO!!~~

With the SHABBY VINTAGE JUNK EXTRAVAGANZA only about 2 weeks away (3rd/4th JUNE)...I am BUSY BUSY getting all my goodies together..

I am trying to pack them in like minded colour ways...

I am pricing everything & in between everything else, I am BAKING some Vintage records...(as you do??)~~~

making bowls..filling them with my music sheet decor balls I have embellished...

And still busy painting and buying more delicious vintage goodies on my shopping days to add to the lots i shall be selling!!~~

Having been an exhibitor last August at the inaugural SHOW, I am absolutely very very excited about this year's event, as there are more exhibitors and I know that some girls are building "sets" to enhance their stalls...

So i implore ALL lovers of SHABBY....VINTAGE....JUNK/FLEA MARKET UNIQUE ITEMS to NOT miss this event...

To be in FIRST before the doors open, EARLY BIRD tickets are available ...

well i am working flat out to get my goodies organised for the upcoming..

SHABBY VINTAGE JUNK extravaganza fair ..

Packaging LOTS of vintage CROCHET centre circles cut from an OLD cloth..

I am packaging myself...finishing off with some "scrappy french chic dictionary pages along the top)..

Adding some buttons & other bits & bobs..

Music sheet BUNTING with vintage postcards attached..

I am doing LOTS of lovely goodies for this event..

so just another LITTLE sneak preview of my goodies...

Hi ladies....

A nice little Mother's Day pressie from my sons ....

A little weekend away to New Zealand in August for the rugby world cup!!~~

Good thing i LOVE the WALLABIES...(aussie world cup team)..

plus eldest son has organised it as HE is a FANATIC....so I just have to TAG along!!~~

(will be shopping whilst he is at the rugby match!!~)...

VINTAGE FURNITURE & HOMEWARES SHOW UPDATE~~

Thank goodness I have my internet connection back and functioning properly~~

Can you believe that for ONE WHOLE WEEK i had barely any internet~~~!!?

and from "me" who never wanted to know about computers/internet for many a year...

Boy, how times have CHANGED for me now..

I felt quite "lost" all week without my internet...~~

So I kept myself extra busy getting more goodies ready for the upcoming

"Vintage furniture & Homewares" show where i will be exhibiting, along with 14 other hand picked vendors...

All of us exhibitors had a little get together the other day at the GORGEOUS TAMARAH'S house (shabby*vintage* junk)...who is organising this BIG event...

& I can tell you that these girls are putting in an EXTRA special EFFORT to make this event truly AWESOME...& unique to anything done before in Australia!!~~

so to add to my little "extra effort"~~~

I have been painting....painting & more painting...

Packaging up vintage music sheets...patterns...

lightly french stamping some vintage rosettes...

bundling up LOTS of crochet centres for use...

dyeing some lovely crochet cloths/doilies..

Stiffening lots of other doilies...

& LOTS more...with A LOT MORE to do...

so a few photos to maybe get an appreciation of the theme of my stall...~~

AND maybe not "surfing the net" for a week made me more productive??

ps..had to show the photo of the TOTALLY STUNNING VINTAGE 50'/60's PLASTIC PINK/white lampshade I stumbled across last week....

isn't she JUST GORGEOUS??

STILL WORKING ON MY GOODIES FOR THE "SHABBY VINTAGE JUNK" FAIR...

I am still "flat out" painting and organising goodies for the up coming....

"SHABBY VINTAGE JUNK EXTRAVAGANZA"...

I have been painting....MOD PODGING....and everything else !!~~

I had a lovely BIG white vintage frame with a ballet print inside..

Took out the print..

& the glass...

& bought some framing wire...(got my dad to staple gun it for me)..

& Have hung some GORGEOUS VINTAGE doilies therefrom...

Bundled up lots of vintage books...tied with vintage crochet cloth edgings..

'De- nuded" some others & tied with string..

re painted a cute little cabinet ....& embellished with doilies & buttons..

SO it is now "THE VINTAGE DOILEY CABINET"!!~~

Lots happening...& starting to take some shape...

now off to do some more bits & pieces..
