Well i had a nice litte surprise today when MY latest book arrived from "FISHPOND"...

I LOVE LOVE THE..."MADE IN FRANCE" books ...

I have the following...

"MADE IN FRANCE"...Linen& Thread...creating homewares embellished with embroidery & ribbon...

MY LATEST edition...

"MADE IN FRANCE"...KNITTING.....scarves/cushions...

I LOVE ALL Of these BOOKS...

NEED TO GET MOTIVATED TO complete some projects...after having started sooo many...

"THE PINK POODLE'S" TEA PARTY!!!

Hello ladies... I hope you all had a lovely weekend as I certainly did..

(apologies...I am kind of getting OVER this..I cannot get photos in sequence...GRRRRRRR.....& MORE GRRRR!!).....

anyway............

On Sunday I had the lovely pleasure of meeting TWO GORGEOUS fellow blogging ladies..

I invited them over to my home for a "PINK POODLE" luncheon/tea party...

We had a wonderful time...chatting...chatting & more chatting..in between a little shopping locally...

I decorated the table all in PINKS/WHITES...with some PINK POODLE little goodies...& a lot of the crochet doilies I had dyed pink...

Interspersed with lots of pink/white little lollies from "mushrooms"..to "milk bottles"...to "ice cream cones"...

I also made some sandwiches...CUTE litte sausage rolls...PINK CUPCAKES!!!

I have to admit I also tied a pink ribbon around 11 yo SOOTY...(even though he is a boy poodle...sorry sooty!!!

BUT he was very well behaved & loved BOTH girls...but no offence kylie..he did seem partial to Kathryn at the table??!!)....

SO I just want to thank the girls for their wonderful company on the FIRST MELBOURNE day when the temperature was below 20 degrees celcius...(gosh we were on a BIG RUN of 127 CONSECUTIVE DAYS of temperatures of 20 & above..a RECORD....)...

Oh well...I guess winter has to come at some time...??? although warming up again later this week...

And I have to thank them for their GORGEOUS little pressies.

KYLIE is CERTAINLY THE CUPCAKE QUEEN maker....!!! GORGEOUS...

TUESDAY'S VINTAGE APRONS...

Hello again everyone ........

Well last evenings dinner went off without a hitch...& the LEMON/LIME tart was a STAR performer!!

thank goodness for that!!

So Mr B has flown out early this morning & I am back to my USUAL ebay listings. ..

I LOVE VINTAGE APRONS.....& had a few stored away...

PLUS a cute little "APRONISMS" book I have also had for ages...

GOING through LOTS of my LINEN & LACE...

SOO TUESDAY has been a VINTAGE KIND of LINEN/LACE DAY???

BUT featuring VINTAGE APRONS...

Its funny...BUT i kind of go through DAYS of ...

"YES.this is what I am selling today""?? ....

THEMED....from sewing...to knitting...to embroidery...to linen...??? to antiques..??

kind of silly?? funny??

in between wanting to paint things...shift furniture around...clean..??

kind of thinking writing this...JEE WIZ....am i NORMAL??????

I am ALWAYS KIND OF ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!?

BUT TODAY IS THE VINTAGE APRON THEMED DAY!!!

TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY OF A DIFFERENT THEMED GOODIE??

MMM!!! VINTAGE SUITCASE DAY sounds cute??

TABLE SETTINGS..COOKING..EASTER MONDAY...NON STOP!!

Hello ladies.....hope a relaxing time for you this Easter week..

OKAY...quick post...(yes...I know I always say that & it tends to go on & ON..)..

SOO... I shall try to revert back to MY OLD LEGAL DAYS & make this blog in POINT FORM...(cough cough)...

1..Byron..(eldest son )...arrived home late saturday evening.

2..He has gone to the footy match at the MCG today (sunday)..

3..meeting his "old" boss from the UK...worked in his law firm in London in his gap year from year 12 to uni.....

4.. OLD BOSS is in Melbourne..(he is an Aussie)...& coming for dinner tonight.

5..Cooked lasagne...garlic bread...made a salad....AND !! have TRIED toooo

6..Cooked /baked Bill Graingers LEMON/LIME slice/cake..

7..Set the TABLE to look a little easter...BUT masculine...??

cut some bits from my grapevine growing out the back...

loosely arranged it AD HOC around my wire CHICKEN full of faux & real easter eggs...

8..tied knife & forks with the napkin & some string ..with a little easter egg attached..

Written the MENU ... MAIN & desert....on MY SOO cute little EASEL blackboard..

lasagne is ready to be finally cooked sitting in the oven...TOP will be GOLDEN crisp when finally cooked..

garlic bread beside ready to be also cooked..

photos a bit OUT of order..per usual...BUT HEY...

GOTTA LUV my pink & blue FOOD covers...THEY HAVE BEEN my lifesaver from FLIES over summer...STILL heaps of files around!!

ANYWAY.....

EASTER GOODIES!!! WELL KIND OF..

Hello ladies...

Hope you all are having a nice Easter weekend..

I am looking forward to my oldest son arriving HOME in a few hours for a few days..

In between I have just been going through SOME STUFF!!

YEP MORE STUFF....!!!

Listing on ebay..

& not sure if you remember SOME posts ago I found a LOVELY OLD cabinet abandoned in the streets ...??

I was going to paint it etc etc...NOT gotten around to that..SSSOOOOO....

had MR C & his "BIG MATE" shift it to a strategic position in the downstairs "table tennis" room...to photograph...to SELL as IS..

BUT HEY!!

I like it where it is...soooo

I am going to keep it there for a while...

& I have PUT THE VINTAGE BITS & BOBS I listed on ebay TODAY on the top..

FROM vintage Henselite bowling balls...CUTE black Barsony NODDING money box...vintage quoits set...etc...etc...(YEP! I have a LOT OF STUFF!!)...

Plus I can put ALL the other STUFF i list in the wardrobe....

saves me labouring UP MORE STAIRS to store my goodies...(although I guess any exercise is good)....WHATEVER!!

so quite happy with that litte bit of an achievement today...!!!!
