MAKING SOME 3D VINTAGE INSPIRED MUSIC SHEET BUTTERFLIES~~

Hi ladies, well I have been busy doing a bit of crafting after tennis this monday....

I made some vintage inspired "music" sheet 3D butterflies which i have stuck to my blackboard in the kitchen..

I am in a bit of a butterfly mood at the minute!!~~

VINTAGE INSPIRED DRESSMAKERS DUMMY & OTHER THINGS!!~~

Well I haven't really stopped doing "STUFF" since last evening~~~~

I am busy preparing for a little party in just over a week, and a girl just has to try & make things look nice??

well that's what I think anyway...

I like to try to make little events memorable & kind of unique to me...

(so we shall see what the guests think..cough!! cough!! say no more)..

ANYWAY....in between doing "MY STUFF"...I actually did this today...

1....covered a cute little paper mache dressmaker's dummy in VINTAGE dressmaking patterns ...

I then embellished her waist with a cute faux diamente buckle & glued some little buttons down her front..

finished off with a safety pin attached..

I kept her "neck" au naturaalll..just tying some string around it...(OHH that doesn't sound too good does it??)....you know what I mean??..

2....covered the paper mache letter "A" with vintage music sheet paper...

embellished with a faux diamond belt buckle..upon which i stuck a scrabble letter "A"...

So I have to say AGAIN...I am just LOVIN MY MOD PODGE...~~~

also went to my all time favourite NEW store..TYPO ... yesterday & bought this fabulous CANVAS letter/number print thingey..

which I have hung next to the TV...

Indulged in buying some lovely FRENCH inspired cutlery from TARGET!!!

as well as a NEW lamp/base from the above establishment..!!!

Anyway, thats it from me for the minute..

ps..No more bird attacks the last few days..so that's good!!~~

I HAVE BEEN UNDER ATTACK!!~~

Hi ladies..

Well, I must say I have been a very scared shopper this past week...

Whilst walking down my LOCAL shopping strip, I have been attacked NOT once, NOT twice, NOT three times BUT FOUR times by a little bird...~~

Hey, I am a nature lover...

I know they are protecting their nest/young chicks...

But these birds are NOT native AUSSIE birds...

THEY attack our native birds..

let alone ATTACKING me whilst shopping!!

So I am ONE grumpy person....

being attacked from behind..pecking & lodging in my head...& Squawking AD NAUSEM in a HIGH pitch whilst pecking my head!!

WITHOUT NOTICE...

By some imported bird.... an "INDIAN MYNAH"~~~

I am literally very scared at the minute walking in my local shopping centre!!

I love birds , but i wish these would fly FAR FAR away~~~~~~

VINTAGE LADDERS..!! before & after..& MORE CRAFTING!!

Howdy girls... I shall try to keep it short & sweet..(ha ha!!)..

Anyway last evening in Melbourne we had the BIGGEST STORM/RAIN in memory..(left over apparently from the Cyclone which hit north queensland)..

lots of flooding ...showing a few pics at the start of the storm from my window....

Today I have painted/stencilled a Vintage cute little ladder I had...

photos show before & after...

I painted it white..blackboard painted the metal parts...stencilled some letters..sanded all down...& have just picked some rosemary from my "non existant" garden & placed them in little bottles...(these are left over cute little bottles from when you have the "sticks in the scent" aroma thingeys??

I hope you know what i mean...they are just super to keep for little floral arrangements...

als0 painted a suitcase a shabby pink...

Just HAD to modpodge a vintage music sheet candle to match my balls!!

did a little cute cupcake decoupage canvas print...

So i have had a busy crafty type saturday..

& with MR SOOTY being totally blind now...I bring him to where i am working & tell him to sit in his little "BED" & voila he is happy/comfy...close nearby..

Hope all this weather starts to improve for EVERYONE..
