SHABBY VINTAGE JUNKSTERS..LOOK AT THIS BOOK!!~~

Happy Friday ladies!!

Funny to think this time last week i was busy selling goodies & having a great lot of giggles/laughs with Alicia...Sam...Tamarah...Shelley et al at the SVJ Fair..

I totally agree with the saying "time flies when you're having FUN"...

anyway...YES I know...I am a clean freak...BUT honestly my house is ONE big mess with stuff not sold from the fair taking up some space..(not unpacked as yet!!)...

Gorgeous dad is still with us...(which i love..)...but i have to say he does make a "little mess" sitting in his possie!! with sooty on knee..

newspapers...crumbs & more crumbs!!! (ssshh!! dad didn't realise i was photographing him reading)!!~~~~

& being the compulsive cleaner...

I am trying to clean this room a tad... & sort through my bookcase to reduce my VAST magazine collection..

whilst going through this case I found THIS GORGEOUS WONDERFUL book..

"For the LOVE of OLD....."

living with chipped..frayed..tarnished..faded..tattered...worn & weathered...

GOOD LORD sounds like i should have taken it to the SVJ fair for sale???

Anyway...ALL ladies out there who love JUNK...(good junk/rusty items/vintage etc)...this book is a MUST have...

(JUST love the inside back & front covers re the vintage floral material??)...

so check out ebay or amazon & splash out and buy one...

You wont be disappointed..great photos & soo inspirational..

LIFE AFTER THE SVJ FAIR..!! BIG KITCHEN CLEAN UP!!~~~

Hello ladies....well i was VERY tired after THE wonderful SVJ fair organised by the AWESOME TAMARAH...(shabbyvintagejunk blog)...

The Fair was totally awesome....ALL of us girls had a GREAT TIME..& we did sell LOTS OF GOODIES....

Lots of lovely ladies/customers enjoying the experience...a LOT were kind of GOBSMACKED with the vast array of wonderful shabby/vintage goodies...

It WAS one of THE BEST times I have experienced....gorgeous items...gorgeous sellers...

I was in heaven....(beside panicking re packing/displaying etc etc)..~~~

My dad is still living with us...knee slowly bending a lot better...& another worry I had with him has been cleared by his doctor today, so I am feeling a very happy camper!!~~~

SOO with spring JUST around the corner...(thank goodness)... I have started my spring cleaning...

The kitchen is FIRST on the agenda....

Soo here are some photos of my kitchen...changing things around...buying some new things...selling others/op shopping them...

(I cannot believe HOW greasy a kitchen gets!!)....

ALL SET UP & READY FOR THE SVJ FAIR...PEEK LOOK!!

Hi ladies...a quick little post to give you a sneak look at my stall I have spent ALL day setting up for the SHABBY VINTAGE JUNK EXTRAVAGANZA~~~~~~~~

I must say having HAD a BIG shop in my previous life, trying to display "hundreds" of bits & pieces in a 3 metre x 3 metre space was quite a challenge...especially when i had all stuff packed away in boxes & suitcases & had NO idea what was where!!!!

Anyway...my wonderful 21 yo son arrived not long after I got to the venue (he drove a van I hired)...and he unloaded ALL my goodies AND erected the marquee I purchased for this event...

SOO the following are some photos of my stall...(was unable to unpack quite a few things as I literally ran out of space)...

Tamarah from "shabbyvintagejunk" blog..(organiser) HAS AN AWESOME STALL & has spent hours upon hours beautifully decorating the hall...

Alicia from "timewornstyle" blog is just next to my stall with GORGEOUS GOODIES...

Sam from "shoestringsplendour" blog...her stall IS FULL OF PRECIOUS beauties...

& from what I have seen from the other girls setting up...I TELL YOU..this would HAVE to be THE BEST/ORIGINAL fair of its type in Melbourne...if not Australia??

All the girls have been JUST THE BEST...SOO HELPFUL...GORGEOUS..with goodies to MATCH...

So if you want to experience THE ULTIMATE in markets....THIS IS definately IT...

There is a wonderful MIX OF VINTAGE/INDUSTRIAL CHIC...FRENCH CHIC...so DO NOT judge this fair by MY stall...~~~ there is a WONDERFUL MIX....

SHABBY VINTAGE MARKET..STILL PAINTING!!..7 DAYS TO GO..

Well with only ONE week until "The Shabby Vintage Junk" extravaganza fair I am still busy preparing my goodies...

I have just been painting some suitcases in some "shabby" colours...

Made another little "mood" board as i call it to show that I am selling lots of vintage linen/lace/sewing goodies etc...

I have priced ALL of my linen...(well MOST of it)...~~~~

I still have LOTS of "smalls" to pack...BUT with my MAIN stuff kind of ready to transport...I am only panicking a "LITTLE" bit!!

cough cough..!!! splutter ...splutter~~~~~~~~

I found a HUGE BIG LOT of 6 x GORGEOUS VINTAGE PINK VELVET (made in England) curtains yesterday....(they filled MY CAR BOOT!!)...~~~

as well as some GREAT VINTAGE COTTON REELS/SPOOLS.....(love the PINK & BLUE colours)..

& a LOT of delightful VINTAGE children's hankies..!!

SOO MORE STUFF to take to the fair~~~~~~~

I am also displaying/selling MY GORGEOUS VINTAGE Collection of "playing/childrens cards"...

Love their colours..their themes...

I am planning on "pegging" them with little pegs (doh!!)..a long some hanging RIBBON??? if you get my drift??

probably the same with the Vintage Kids hankies...

YEP!! i DO have a THING for hanging stuff!!~~
